Shahid Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was established in the year 2008 with the aim of providing quality education to the students of the rural areas and to make the students of this area world class. Radhanagari is a remote and hilly taluka surrounded by natural beauty. There are thousands of ex-servicemen in this area. The children of these soldiers, especially the girls, had and still have many difficulties in getting the highest quality of education. More than 148 soldiers in the district have been martyred. Their children are also struggling for education. Considering all these things, with the noble intention of filling the gap in the education sector by providing international quality education to the students
Shahid Shikshan Prasarak Mandal established in the beloved memory of Shahid Sitaram Gopala Patil, a martyred patriot of 1971 Bangladesh war, Shahid Shikshan Prasarak Mandal,Titave, commenced work in the year 2007. In the year 2009, we started Shahid Public School with residential facility. Students are always encouraged to perform at the highest level by meeting their academic, extra-curricular, sports and cultural needs and attaining their all-round development.
Shahid Virpatni Laxmi Mahavidyalaya, Titave has been launched on year 2018 for educational and economic empowerment of rural girls and women. It is located in a small village with population of just 3000 but serves educational needs of girls from surrounding 110 villages. We are affiliated to SNDT Women’s University Mumbai. We believe the tagline "Educate every girl for a better future" and It gives them wings to fly for a better tomorrow. We offer B.C.A., B.A. (Mass Media), B.Sc. (Gen), B.Sc. Home Science, D.M.L.T., B.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (CS), M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry and M.Sc. Microbiology etc.
We provide bus facility to students with affordable prices. More than 900 students from 110 villages are studying in the College. SVLM has always been a step ahead when it comes to placements. Our students are prepared for the opportunities that await them in the professional arena. The Placement Cell operates round the year to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. The Placement details of our students are an indicative factor that the college is having very fruitful and meaningful relations with the industries. We have been successful in maintaining our high placement statistics over the years and the fact that our students have achieved record breaking placements itself is a testimony to our quality. Our first batch students got offer from TCS, Cap Gemini, Wipro, T System, Infosys, TE Connectivity etc. These all students came from rural background.
